Gylden Alerion - Aero

Aero is stunning on the outside, but what makes him truly special is that he is every bit as beautiful on the inside. There is a genuine goodness in him that is difficult to adequately put into words.

Aero is gentle, engaging, kind and adorably curious by nature. He has a true puppy-dog personality and thrives on human interaction. He seeks out attention and affection, wants to know what you’re doing and is happiest when he gets to be a part of it. He doesn’t just tolerate being handled and worked with - he thoroughly enjoys it.

What makes Aero so unique is that big personality and enthusiasm comes with a great amount of respect. He has been highly educated on being respectful without being overly energetic or demanding. He has a desire to be engaged. He wants to interact, contribute, learn and be included.

He has a phenomenal personality, a wonderful sense of curiosity, and he is charming….he knows he’s charming too! When he looks at you with his big eyes and ears perked forward he just puts you under his spell.

Under saddle, Aero is smooth, comfortable and a push-style horse. You ride him forward into the next gear rather than spending your ride trying to contain him. He is naturally sensible, willing, and uncomplicated.

Aero has an extensive education and is capable of being ridden around bridleless at all gates. My goal with him was to develop a horse that combines correctness and thorough education with true versatility - one capable of stepping up and performing at professional standard, while maintaining the mindset and ride ability to carry different levels of riders.

He continues to prove that he is that horse.

He has been ridden extensively by my 9-year-old daughter, carried novice riders down the trial, pushed cattle on a ranch, and received schooling in dressage. He has extensive arena training, understands body control, carries himself with rhythm and cadence, and remains the same dependable horse in and outside of the arena.

In the fall of 2025, we had the opportunity to take Aero with us on a trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah- just one of the many experiences he’s accumulated along the way. He has been thoughtfully exposed to a wide variety of environments, riders and situations, giving him the depth of experience that has made him the exceptionally well-rounded horse he his today.

My greatest hope for Aero is that he finds someone who appreciates all of him - not just his beauty and talent, but the remarkable personality that he comes with. Someone who enjoys having a connection and a relationship with their horse. Someone who will utilize the education he’s been given.

He’s at a fantastic age: mature enough to have accumulated a tremendous amount of life experience, while still having years ahead of him to continue developing in whatever direction his next home chooses.

He sells sound, with no vices or behavior issues. He’s easy to manage in the barn, can be stalled or turned out, and gets along well with other horses. His current feeding program is very simple - a grass mix hay with no grain or supplements required.

On a personal level, this horse is incredibly special to me. I would consider Aero to be my heart horse. He genuinely enjoys being worked with and his personality, level of try and enthusiasm for it all make him so special and gives me something to look forward to. He is the kind that meets you at the gate, wants to go on an adventure and has made the training process so enjoyable.

I have been incredibly fortunate in my life to know, ride, train, and own some truly amazing horses. Even among them, I know I will forever remember my time with Aero. He has helped shape me as a horsewoman and taught me so much.

I do not offer this horse lightly.

There are horses you are proud to have trained, horses you are grateful have owned, and then there are a few you feel genuinely blessed to have crossed paths with.

Aero will always be that horse to me. Truly unique and extremely special.

Because of what he means to me, I knew when it came time to offer him, it needed to be somewhere just as special. I wanted a venue that reflected the quality of horse he is and give him the opportunity to find the kind of home I hope for.

Aero was accepted to Cowgirl Cadillacs in Wickenburg, Arizona on February 20, 2027. This is one of the most prestigious horse sales in the country and it will undoubtably be bittersweet, but I am incredibly proud to present him there.
