Dun Bein Blue

Muffin is part of our family program. He is a well-bred APHA gelding with a correct foundation and an exceptionally sensible way of going. He has been in our program for the past two years, where he has proven himself to be an honest, talented individual with a cooperative mindset and is now being ridden by our 11 year old son.
He comes from high-caliber Western Pleasure bloodlines and was originally retained as a stud prospect, which is reflected in his natural balance and quality movement. Since being started under saddle, he has been developed with an emphasis on correctness and versatility. Muffin is the kind of horse you don’t want to change, you guide. He is naturally willing, kind, honest and a pretty mover. Our focus has been on developing his education while protecting his natural abilities.
He has advanced in his training to the level that he can be ridden bridleless, while he navigates obstacles and moves though the normal paces of a bridle horse. He negotiates obstacles willingly, and maintains a steady, relaxed rhythm both in the arena and out on the trail.
Mentally, Muffin stands out for his quiet disposition and reliability. He handles new environments with confidence, has been hauled to events such as the county fair, and consistently makes good decisions. He is forgiving, uncomplicated, and the type of horse that makes daily riding straightforward and enjoyable. His temperament and education have progressed to the point that he is now being ridden by an 11-year-old, further reinforcing his steady nature.
Muffin is best suited for a rider or program looking for a well-minded, educated horse with proven exposure and a solid foundation. He is the kind of individual that makes life easier in the barn and will continue to be a utilized with us as he now furthers our children's education and experiences.
